compliance requires three specific capabilities
In early 2020 Kari’s Law went into effect. And it requires all school phones to directly dial 911 requiring no other digit before dialing out.
Once the 911 call is initiated school security and administration must be notified!
Ray Baum Act requires telephone systems to provide additional information such as room number & floor number to adequately identify the location of the calling party. This requirement applies to both fixed and mobile phones.
